Company owner Michael Eisenhauer has been working on solutions for sealing penetrations of building shells like vapour barriers or vapour retarder for many years.

The air seal sleeves and other innovative, practice-oriented products were the result of his research. These solutions were granted the award for innovation. Consequently, the outdoor area became an integrated part in the development targets. Thus, the present extensive product range covers air seal sleeves for interior areas as well as sleeves for outdoor areas.

Eisedicht also offers customized and custom-designed air seal sleeves and special solutions for specific use.

In 2000, in his original job as a stucco plasterer, Michael Eisenhauer developed air seal sleeves out of practice and then started his own company Eisedicht – Air Seal Sleeves.

Since the beginning of 2007, Eisedicht has been located in Rinteln, Lower-Saxony, in Germany. Fourteen members of staff are responsible for production, sales and development.

Various sales partners in Europe, New Zealand and other countries provide advice and sell Eisedicht products.
