Our story
EISEDICHT® was founded on 1. November 2000 and is still owner-managed today. Michael Eisenhauer, at that time working as a drywall builder, started out in a 9 square metre cellar with an idea for sealing penetrations through the vapour barrier. As a result, Michael founded the company EISEDICHT®.
The first larger production facility of 300 square metres was opened in Alverdissen on 01.01.2003, with just one employee. Since then, EISEDICHT® has grown steadily. From 01.01.2008, production in Exten expanded to almost 2000 square metres. This was followed by the decision to move to our current location in Dörentrup in 2018. The company's production now covers an area of almost 6000 square metres, including our in-house quality testing laboratory, a showroom for our complete product range in installation situations and our training room for companies who want to learn more about EISEDICHT® and the airtight collar. Our production will continue to be expanded and optimised.
Our guiding principle was and is ‘SIMPLE. SAFE. SEALED’.
Today, we can proudly say that we have remained committed to this motto and continue to successfully develop our company and our products.
